Lake Coeur d'Alene's holiday light show, with more than 1.5 million lights around the resort and bay, seen best on the 40-minute Journey to the North Pole cruise, where Santa greets children by name. The lighting ceremony with fireworks is the day after Thanksgiving, and cruises run from mid-November to early January.
