RiverEdge Park sits across Broadway from the Aurora Transportation Center, the Metra BNSF line's station in downtown Aurora. The park's own visitor page suggests a way around downtown traffic: park at the Route 59 Metra station and ride the train about 12 minutes to the Aurora Transportation Center, then cross the street to the park. Coming from Chicago, the same BNSF trains run from the city to the Transportation Center.

The venue lists free city lots on the west bank of the Fox River (Lots W, X, Y and A on River Street, north of New York Street), linked to the park by a pedestrian bridge. On the park's side of the river, the Aurora Transportation Center main lot at 233 N Broadway costs $10 and its overflow lot at 130 N Lincoln Ave costs $2 (October 2026); both fill up. All of these lots have accessible spaces. Pay stations take exact cash or cards, or use ParkMobile.

RiverEdge Park's visitor page, which is written mainly for its summer concerts, lists a designated ADA lot ($10) at 448 N Broadway just north of the park, with golf-cart shuttles to Gate 1, and 16 more ADA spaces at the north end of the Transportation Center lot across the street. Gates 1 and 2 are the ADA entrances. Service animals are allowed. Ask the market whether the cart shuttle runs on market days before relying on it.

Downtown Aurora, on and around Stolp Island and Broadway, is a short walk from RiverEdge Park, including across the pedestrian bridge from the River Street side. Visitors from Chicago can also stay downtown there and come out on Metra's BNSF line, which ends across the street from the park.
