Cincinnati Christmas Market 2026

The Cincinnati streetcar (the Connector) has a stop on 2nd Street at The Banks, which the organizer says is within walking distance of the market on the Schmidlapp Event Lawn beside the Cincinnati Lager House. The organizer also points out that there are surface lots and garages all along the streetcar line, so you can park further out and ride in.

The organizer's first pick is the Central Riverfront Garage, whose best entrance is just west of the Lager House on Mehring Way; other entrances are on Second Street by Main, Joe Nuxhall Way and Race Street. Follow the signs to the Event Lawn and take the elevator or stairs up beside the Lager House. Special pricing applies during Reds, Bengals and other events. The Public Landing lot just east of the Lager House is open only in good weather, with no overnight parking. Metered street parking is spread through The Banks and downtown north of Second Street.

Downtown's ice rink, the UC Health Ice Rink, moved from Fountain Square to Elm Street Plaza in 2025 and opens for the 2026-27 season on November 7, 2026. Admission was listed at $12 a person including skate rental (October 2026), with children 5 and under free with a paying adult. 3CDC also runs the CVG Fountain of Light display on Fountain Square, lit at all hours through the colder months, with a show every 15 minutes.

The Banks, the riverfront district between the two stadiums, is right beside the market lawn. Downtown's core, around Fountain Square, is under half a mile north in a straight line and on the streetcar line, and Covington, Kentucky, is a walk across the Roebling Suspension Bridge.
