Colorado Springs Christmas Market 2026

Mountain Metro Route 3 runs along Colorado Avenue from the Downtown Terminal through Old Colorado City, past Bancroft Park, to Manitou Springs. It is one of Metro's zero-fare routes, so the ride is free, and it runs seven days a week with buses every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day; check the Route 3 timetable for exact evening times before you rely on it after the market closes at 8 pm. All Metro buses can carry wheelchairs.

The City of Colorado Springs runs four public surface lots in Old Colorado City, all within a few blocks of Bancroft Park. They cost $1 an hour and are free on Sundays (October 2026). Street meters run Monday to Saturday 8 am to 8 pm and Sunday 1 to 8 pm, and on-street parking is free after 8 pm, which is when the market closes. Meters are also free on city holidays, which include Christmas Eve, December 24. Display your ADA placard if you have one.

Downtown, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum holds its free Festival of Lights Family Fun Day on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm at 215 S Tejon Street, with music, crafts and face painting, then hot chocolate and cookies outside the museum from 6 pm. The museum bills it as the lead-in to the downtown Festival of Lights parade that evening. Downtown is about two miles east of Bancroft Park in a straight line, and Route 3 links the two.

Old Colorado City itself, the historic blocks of West Colorado Avenue around Bancroft Park, puts you within a few minutes' walk of the huts, with shops and restaurants on the same street. Downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs are both a short, free Route 3 bus ride away along Colorado Avenue.
