Cullman Christmas Market 2026

There is no single market lot: you park in free and paid lots and on the streets around Depot Park. The closest lots are along 1st Ave SE, two to seven minutes' walk away, and a paid fundraiser lot at 250 Young St NE is a minute from the gates. On weekends the Cullman Middle School and Cullman High School lots open to market visitors. ADA parking is east of the market along 2nd Ave NE and off Arnold St and 1st Ave NW, marked with A-frame signs and first come, first served.

The Christkindlmarkt Parade, with marching bands, local groups and floats along seven blocks of downtown Cullman, starts at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 20, 2026. At 8 pm the crowd follows it into Depot Park for the market's tree lighting, with a light show, fireworks and, new this year, a drone show. Santa, the Grinch and Buddy the Elf appear, and the event is free.

Depot Park is in downtown Cullman, and the only lodging the organizers list close to it is one small hotel in the downtown blocks, 3 to 5 minutes away. Most visitors stay at the chain hotels by the Interstate 65 exits, 5 to 10 minutes' drive from the park, and drive in.
