Grapevine Christmas Village 2026

Trinity Metro's TEXRail commuter train stops at Grapevine/Main Street Station, 815 S Main St, which the visitors bureau says drops you near the Christmas Market at 705 S Main St. TEXRail runs between downtown Fort Worth and DFW Airport Terminal B. From Dallas-area suburbs, take the DART Silver Line to DFW Airport North Station (1867 E Dallas Rd) and change to TEXRail. The bureau's free Christmas Capital of Texas shuttle runs from Friday, November 27 to Thursday, December 31, 2026, and links the free lots to the Main Street events.

The visitors bureau lists free lots near the market and a free shuttle from the convention center lot. Historic Main Street is closed to cars from Northwest Highway to Dallas Road on November 22 to 29, December 3 to 7, December 11 to 13 and December 18 to 27, 2026, so allow extra time on those days. The city garage on E Dallas Rd is free for 90 minutes, then $1 an hour, but the bureau's general parking page says it costs $15 during special events.

The visitors bureau does not rent wheelchairs or strollers, so bring your own; it describes Grapevine as easy to get around. The Christmas Market has a stroller parking tent, and strollers, infant car seats and carriers are not allowed on the North Pole Express train, where a free stroller valet is offered instead. The North Pole Neighborhood around the market has both indoor and outdoor areas.

The market is one part of Grapevine's Christmas Capital of Texas season. The Carol of Lights opens the season on Historic Main Street on Monday, November 23, 2026, from 4 to 8 pm. The Parade of Lights steps off at 7 pm on Thursday, December 3, and the Merry & Bright Drone Show is at 7 pm on Monday, December 7. The Peace Plaza Ice Rink, in front of Grapevine Main Station at 815 S Main St, opens daily through January 5 except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, at $20 an hour with skates (October 2026).

The market is at the south end of Historic Main Street, so anywhere in the historic downtown between Northwest Highway and the Cotton Belt depot is walkable to the stalls, the ice rink and the parade route. Visitors staying near DFW Airport or Grapevine Mills can use TEXRail or the free Christmas shuttle instead of driving.
