Bryant Park Christmas Market 2026

The B, D, F and M trains stop at 42 St-Bryant Park, beside the park, but Bryant Park says that station is not accessible. Its nearest step-free stations are Times Sq-42 St (N, Q, R, W, 1, 2, 3 and 7) and 34 St-Herald Sq (B, D, F, M, N, Q, R and W). The M1, M4, M42 and M55 buses stop near the park, and all New York City Transit buses are wheelchair accessible.

Step-free entrances are mid-block on 40th and 42nd Streets, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, and the park suggests 35 West 40th Street for drop-off. Some Holiday Shops kiosks have a step: call 347-899-6977 and staff bring a portable ramp. Accessible restrooms are on the south side of the park by Joe Coffee and at 38 West 42nd Street, with more in the skating area and The Lodge. Service animals are allowed, and free stroller parking opens near the fountain terrace info kiosk from mid-November.

Bryant Park's own advice for Winter Village is to come on weekdays and in the mornings, and on dates before Thanksgiving or after New Year's, which it calls off-peak. From November 19 to January 3 the park treats the season as peak: the rink stays open until midnight and many shops keep later hours, especially on the busiest holiday dates.

The shops ring The Rink, a free-admission ice rink open October 28, 2026 to February 28, 2027, from 8 am to 10 pm, or to midnight from November 19 to January 3. Bring your own skates and book a free time slot, or rent skates from $18.72 to $64.48 (October 2026). The Lodge, an open-air bar and food hall beside the rink, runs on the same dates, 10 am to 10 pm daily.

Bryant Park is in the middle of Midtown, so anywhere from Times Square and the Theater District to Grand Central and Murray Hill is a walk of 15 minutes or less. Herald Square and Koreatown, a few blocks south, are close too.
