Pittsburgh Christmas Market 2026

Pittsburgh Regional Transit's light rail, the T, runs through Downtown on the Red, Blue and Silver lines. Wood Street and Gateway are the closest T stations to Market Square, each roughly a quarter mile away in a straight line. Both are in PRT's Free Fare Zone, along with Steel Plaza, First Avenue, North Shore and Allegheny, so a ride that starts and ends at those stations costs nothing.

Two Alco Parking garages are close to the square, and both are open 24 hours. The Market Square Garage takes cards only and has accessible spaces on levels 3, 4 and 5 by the elevators. The PPG Garage says special events may bring higher rates and names Light Up Night as one of them, so expect to pay more that night.

Market Square is in the middle of Downtown, so anywhere in the Golden Triangle is a short walk, including the Cultural District along Penn and Liberty Avenues and the blocks around Point State Park. The North Shore is across the Allegheny River and linked by the fare-free T.
