The organizer runs a shuttle from the University of Utah area, so you can leave the car at home. Take the TRAX Red Line to University of Utah Stadium Station, then follow the signs to the Christkindlmarkt shuttle stop at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The shuttle goes straight to the market at This Is The Place Heritage Park and brings you back. The same shuttle network serves the free off-site parking lots and runs every 15 minutes.

There are two choices. A limited number of paid on-site spaces must be bought in advance, with a shuttle from the lot to the market. Free off-site lots, numbered on the organizer's parking map and color-coded by the days and times they are open, are linked by a shuttle every 15 minutes. Both the organizer and the park ask you to follow the signs and Salt Lake Police officers and not to park in nearby neighborhoods or anywhere undesignated.

The organizer says This Is The Place Heritage Park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The market does not lend wheelchairs, so bring your own. Because the crowds are large and some spaces are tight, it asks families to leave strollers at home if they can. Pets are not allowed, but service animals are. The venue says the 2026 layout spreads booths and food vendors further apart than before to give more room.

This Is The Place Heritage Park itself points visitors to another nearby holiday market. Red Butte Garden, the University of Utah's botanical garden at 300 Wakara Way, holds its Holiday Open House and Art Fair on December 5 and 6, 2026, overlapping the market's last day. Local artists sell handmade gifts there, and the heritage park's page says admission to the open house is free.

The heritage park is in the foothills on the city's east side, and nowhere you would stay is within an easy walk of the booths. The simplest plan is to stay near a TRAX Red Line station, ride to University of Utah Stadium Station and take the market shuttle from there.
