Bethlehem Christmas Market 2026

LANta buses reach the SouthSide near SteelStacks. The EBS Green Line runs from Whitehall through Allentown and downtown Bethlehem to its last stop at the Wind Creek casino, about 0.4 mile in a straight line east of PNC Plaza, with a separate Sunday timetable. LANta's Southside Station on 4th Street is served by the Green Line and by Route 605, the Bethlehem Circulator. Most visitors drive, since parking on the SteelStacks campus is free.

ArtsQuest says free public parking for the market is right next to it on the SteelStacks campus: follow the signs and staff on arrival to the nearest open lot, first come, first served. The lots are on First Street. A limited number of disabled spaces are available, and visitors with disabilities can be dropped off and picked up on First Street in front of the Willkommen Haus entrance. If the campus lots fill, the Bethlehem Parking Authority runs garages in the SouthSide Arts District; ArtsQuest names Polk Street Garage as the closest.

Wheelchairs can be borrowed free, provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network. Enter through the Willkommen Haus entrance and ask for one when you buy your ticket; you leave a driver's license or ID in exchange, and there are only a few, first come, first served. Drop-off for visitors with disabilities is on First Street in front of Willkommen Haus, and there is limited disabled parking in the campus lots.

Bethlehem calls itself Christmas City, and the season runs alongside the market. The City of Bethlehem's tree lighting is on Friday, November 27, followed straight after by Historic Bethlehem's free Wassail Party. Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites opens its Trees of Historic Bethlehem exhibition and first holiday tours on Friday, November 13, the market's opening day, and most of its programs pick up again on December 26.

The SouthSide, around East Third and Fourth Streets and the SouthSide Arts District, is the walkable base for SteelStacks. The historic downtown on the north side, around Main Street, is across the Lehigh River by the Fahy Bridge, about a mile away, and makes a longer walk or a short drive.
