Getting There, Parking and More
Parking
Parking at Peddler's Village is free, with signs at the entrances pointing you to the lots, and the village publishes a map of its parking areas. It asks visitors not to park in the Penn's Purchase lots or on nearby residential streets. On the night of the Grand Illumination (Friday, November 20, 2026) the lots can fill, so the village says to arrive as early as you can. For sat-navs it suggests 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA. There is almost no public transit: the village lists only taxis, ride-hailing and the TransBridge intercity bus.

Accessibility
The village says most of it welcomes wheelchair users, but some older buildings have steps, and for those it gives side or back entrances (Buttonwood Grill, Golden Plough Inn, Moku Bowls, Sunflowers) or a phone number to call. It does not rent wheelchairs, scooters or strollers, so bring your own. Accessible restrooms are in the outdoor public restrooms in the Courtyard at Street Road and Route 202, on the main Village Green near Peddler's Lane, and in the restaurants.

Quiet Times to Visit
The village itself says weekends are the busiest and weekdays quieter. Its advice for a calm visit is a weekday morning or early afternoon, around 10:30 am Monday to Friday. The Grand Illumination on November 20 is the opposite end of the scale: lots can fill and the paths get congested enough that the village advises leaving dogs at home that night.

The 42nd Gingerbread Competition and Display, with more than 100 entries, is free to see from November 20 into January 2027 (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
