Dupont Circle Holiday Market 2026

Dupont Circle station on Metro's Red Line is one block from the market, according to the organizer. Red Line trains run toward Glenmont and Shady Grove; on weekdays the station opens before 6 am, and the last trains leave after midnight (October 2026). The organizer adds that the market is also reached by Metrobus and Capital Bikeshare. The stalls fill the 1500 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW, between Q Street and the circle.

The organizer suggests booking parking ahead through a reservations app linked from its Getting Here page, and lists Metro, Metrobus and Capital Bikeshare as other ways to arrive. It names one garage for the market: Metropolis Parking at 11 Dupont Circle, on New Hampshire Avenue at the circle end of the market block. The organizer gives no rate for it, so check the price when you book.

The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is on Thursday, December 3, 2026, on the Ellipse south of the White House. Tickets are free but given out by lottery on Recreation.gov: entries open at 10 am ET on October 28 and close at 3 pm ET on November 4, 2026, and winners hear on November 12. Visiting the tree site is free later in the season.

The market is just north of Dupont Circle, so anywhere in Dupont Circle itself, Kalorama, the streets around Connecticut Avenue and the west end of Logan Circle is a comfortable walk. From downtown or Penn Quarter it is a short Red Line ride to Dupont Circle station.
